Futures/Barrel Tasting
Join owner and winemaker Charles Massoud in Paumanok's barrel cellar to taste wine from barrel. The barrel tasting of the 2018 vintage reds and barrel fermented chardonnay will be held on Saturday & Sunday, November 2 & 3, 2019, November 9 & 10, 2019 and November 16 & 17, 2019. Available times are at 12, 1, 2, 3, and 4 PM, at which time case futures will be offered.
A futures contract is a purchase of wine by the case at a significant discount to the projected retail price with pick up at a future date (once the wine is bottled, usually about six to eight months later).
We will be using large Riedel crystal glasses to taste the wines, which will be accompanied by an assortment of fine cheeses, breads and pâté. There is a $25 per person fee to attend. This fee will be waived if you purchased 2017 vintage futures or if you purchase 2018 vintage futures or if you are a Paumanok Club member.
