86 This well made yet simple, sweet 1998 Riesling Late Harvest reveals orange and floral aromas and flavors in its medium to full-bodied character. It is a balanced, well-focused, mouthfilling wine. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.
Winery Tasting Notes
This late harvest wine is made from raisins hand-picked in the sun-shortened days of late October. It has a beautiful floral nose, redolent of honey suckle. Intense, nectar-like flavors of apricot and pear. A wonderful dessert wine that can be enjoyed with fruit tarts or cheese cake or all by itself!!
$27 a half bottle (375mL).
